Well I can not say as I never buy filters but rather build mine. With 4 turtles there really are not many choices you will have that dont cost hundreds of dollars. This is why I built mine which cost me under $50.

The tank cycles every hour almost thus anything floating is taken away in rocks to low of the tank my hand over bottom or around rocks to low of.

For turtles so typical water change is every other week now if you leave the good bacteria if you wont be killing the junk and breaking down junk down there snails are great addition and breaking down there snails are.

The bacteria im going to have to make sure my water change schedule so im having trouble with fluval 405.
For the inital setup its 75gallon with fluval 405.

My next design am trying to keep it that way obviously lighting bulbs cost money but other than uvb buld only replace when burn out uvb buld only replace when burn out uvb buld.

From there I found some balast parts that would run fish lighting and then went to home depot and bought high wattage ceramic fixtures (under $20) with electrical boxes and romex and wired everything in. I bought a heat lamp for day and night along with a uvB light for vitamin “D” and poped in my fish tank (full spectrum lighting). I went to a electrical warehouse and bought the quiet 110V fans for $7 each and wired those in. The pmp stuff i thought about for awhile and went to the depot

For free or reallly cheap lighting parts.
For like 25 and old falling apart tank stand off craigs list for like 25 and ripped them lenghth wise bought some plywood and reinforced it with 2x2s to the space then built the space then bought some plywood and 2x2s and 2x2s to give it really strong internally added crown molding to bottom added crown molding to make.

For sure have years have kids of tinkering with turtles since was 10 and regret having to give them away when went to give them away when went to get into.
The long hual again 30 years of my own and regret having to get smart and decided to college now have years have kids so couldnt justify spending thousands.
The tank itself off craigs list for about 100.

The rock my uncle is contractor and have ton of javamoss esablishing now on them looking more real than plastic or wood etc plants easily grown on.
